We recommend NOT steeping tea for longer than the recommended time.
Steeping is actually referring to the leaves cooking in the boiling water and the longer they steep, the more they oxidize and become bitter.
If you are looking for a stronger flavor profile or higher caffeine content, or you are making iced tea, we recommend using more tea opposed to steeping longer.
Try it out for yourselves with one of our loose leaf tea blends!
